Hello! It's me again! Almost a year since I last updated this place but I'm back! Maybe sorta.
I'm going back to college, I'm gonna try to become an accountant. I just got accepted and now I'm just trying to get my school email working and pick out my classes. I'm going for my master degree so I need to lock in hard.
I won't lie, I missed making little edits to the website (even if they weren't meaningful) so I'm gonna try my best to keep up with this. Even as just a diary.
Anyways! Update on my life, I moved into my house! I thought I'd have more time fixing stuff up but a lot of stuff just broke and I haven't had any money to renovate. I'm still sleeping in my living room cause I just haven't had the time to fix my bedroom. That's why I'm hoping being an accountant will give me enough money to either pay someone or do it myself.
I also got two cats! Oliver my little orange and Toko my big boi. I was trying to find another cat with a broken leg, I nicknamed Marco, and ended up at the shelter. I couldn't find Marco but the ladies asked if I wanted to see the cats in the back, I was like sure but I probably won't be able to get one. I saw Oliver and Toko and oh my lord they were so cute. I didn't have enough money though and I didn't want to only get one kitten since they'd get bored while I'm working or sleeping. But the lady let me know that kittens were two for one today. I have never been happier. I think it was a sign from the cosmic beings above because I haven't been happier. I love Monster and Copper, but they don't give me the physical attention like Oliver and Toko can give me. I love them both so much. Funny thing, Toko is older than Oliver but I didn't really believe it because he was so small. He could fit under the couch with no problem when he got scared, but now he's twice as big and definitly bigger than Oliver. I think I saw Oliver realize one day just how much bigger Toko had gotten. He might be a little fat but he's still a kitten and he's still running around without any problem.
The other reason I wanted to get kittens was so they wouldn't go after Monster and Copper. So far everything has been fine. At first everyone was curious, and Copper made sure to show the kittens they needed to respect their space. Now the kittens and bunnies don't mind each other, but really only get close to one another when I'm in the room too. Toko will watch them from above on a table while he lays in the sun and Copper only gets upset when they get in her personal space- which is by accident most times.
Speaking of the bunnies, they've been doing really well with their new room. The floor is a bit slick for them but I try to amend that with extra hay and hopefully when I get wood floors that'll be easier for them. They've been warming up to me again and I love having them right next to my kitchen. I can watch them while I cook and if I don't finish something I can throw it to them to chomp on. Not to mention all my green scraps go straight to them. They normally eat everything and anything they don't eat just gets thrown out on cleaning days. I do have to be careful sometimes though cause for some reason Toko thinks their food is tasty so I have to pull his face out of rabbit pellets. Other than that I'm going to go into my complaints.
OH. MY. GOD. I've already spent over a thousand $$$ on this place and I haven't even fixed up the inside. The boiler in the basement broke down and needed so many parts replaced. I spent about $400 - $600 on that. Then I got a water bill for $600, but luckily got it reduced to $300 after I showed I got the toilet fixed. Then just a few weeks ago I got a notice about a building on my property needing to be torn down. That was over $800. It has been a mess! Which might be the reason I haven't had the money to fix up my house, but my savings have never looked so baren. I used to have $5k to my name! Now it's just enough to pay off my insurance and house payment. Worse part is the building that needed to be torn down still has a part of it left that needs to be taken care of. But I'm just waiting and hoping I can stall long enough to get a better job that pays so much more and get enough money to do that. At the very least it's no longer a saftey hazzard.
Anyways, thanks for reading my ramblings and living with my typos. I think this is enough for today. I'm currently thinking about making a game again (lol) and I'm going to do my best at school. I don't know when I'll write back, but hopefully I can make it somewhat daily. No promises. Bye bye!
